National Hispanic Women’s Conference - 2007

April 27, 2007, Pasadena Convention Center

The National Hispanic Women’s Conference (NHWC), one of the first large-scale conferences of its kind, began 31 years ago and has grown from 50 to nearly 3,000 attendees. Started by Dionicio Morales, founder of the Mexican American Opportunity Foundation, the Conference was formed to create career opportunities for Hispanic women and bring greater awareness to the talent pool available in the Latino community. Today, the Conference has established an impressive following of Latina professionals, corporate leaders, educators, high school and college students from around the country. The event gathers in a striking forum designed to share resources and learn from experts about career planning, educational achievement, financial planning and life empowerment. Engaging workshops, inspiring speakers and a Career Fair and Expo round out the day.

Don’t miss out on the Woman of the Year Awards Luncheon where three outstanding Latinas are honored and celebrated with a high-energy fashion show produced by J.C. Penney – come join us!
