MAOF State Preschool Program Description
MAOF State Preschools offer half day services. The program is funded by the California Department of Education and has the capacity to serve over 1400 children daily. Services are based on eligibility which include: Referrals from the Department of Social Services, families receiving public assistance, families residing in shelter homes, and must meet income guidelines. Our program offers an enriched curriculum, serves nutritious meals daily, implements a kindergarten readiness program, and provides bilingual education.
We currently have 11 State Preschool sites serving 7 counties (Los Angeles, San Diego, Monterey, Orange, San Bernardino, Ventura, and Kern). Our program operates year round, except major holidays, and serve children ages 2.9 years to 5 years.
