MAOF Childcare Program Description

MAOF General Childcare Centers offer full day services. The program is funded by the California Department of Education and has the capacity to serve over 775 children daily. Services are based on eligibility and needs which include: Referrals from the Department of Social Services, employment, seeking employment, vocational training, incapacity, families receiving public assistance, and families residing in shelter homes. Our program offers an enriched curriculum, serves nutritious meals daily, implements a kindergarten readiness program, and provides bilingual education.

We currently have 10 General Childcare sites serving 3 counties (Los Angeles, San Diego, and Monterey). Our program operates year round, except major holidays, and serve children ages 6 weeks to 5 years (infant and toddler services are only available at certain locations).
