Job Summary
Supervise and operate a pre-school or a childcare and development center insuring that a quality program which meets contractual and MAOF standards and requirements, is provided.

    Qualifications

    • Associates/Bachelor’s or advanced degree in early childhood education or child development: or an
    • Associates/Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 24 Early Childhood Education coursework unit’s equivalent to a major relating to early childhood education.

    • Valid Site Supervisor Permit from the CA Commission of Teacher Credential.
    • Must have Infant and Toddler units.
    • Minimum of one (1) year direct experience working with young children, 3-5 years’
      experience working in a pre-school/child care setting.

    • Minimum five (5) years of progressively more responsible management experience.
    • Knowledge of Child Care Licensing Regulations and best practices related to early childhood education.

Additional Qualifications

  • Must meet State health requirements: Must submit to a pre-employment physical examination and Tuberculosis (TB) clearance at the time of employment, to be renewed every four years.
  • Must submit to a flu vaccine once a year.
  • Must provide vaccination records for influenza, pertussis and measles, at the time of employment.
  • Criminal Records (e.g. Livescan Fingerprinting), Child Abuse Index, Sexual Offender Registry. Must be finger printed and cleared through the Justice Department. Fingerprints clearance must be active and on file with the Justice Department.
  • Must be 18 years of age to apply.
  • Must have a valid California driver’s license, have use of a motor vehicle and provide evidence of automobile liability insurance.
  • Educational transcripts are required.
  • Bilingual (Spanish / English) required.

Job Summary
Support Staff is responsible to provide administrative and clerical assistance to the main office, perform day-to-day operational task including, but not limited to; answering telephones, paper case filing, conducting follow-up telephone calls, faxing, mailing, data input and assist with the walk-participants and/or providers.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills. Proper phone etiquette
  • Valid California Driver License, and proper automobile insurance.
  • Ability to work variable days and hours.

Special Qualifications

  • Provide clerical support within the department. Trips to the post office.
  • Provide assistance to all clients with the department

  • Input all pertinent data on participants, children and provider in the SMP & CEL database system
  • Request provider documentation for licensed and licensed-exempt providers
  • Provide coverage for the Switchboard Operator/Receptionist upon requires
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Attends staff meetings, workshops, and conferences, as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Procurement Officer

(Full-Time)

Job Summary
Coordinates procurement activities, obtaining bids, preparing contracts & responding to vendor inquiries. Responsible for receiving, managing and purchasing operational inventory for MAOF. Procurement Coordinator will maintain accurate inventories, track inventory usage and will seek new ways to streamline the process. Responsible to purchase day to day and recurring items (ex. office supplies, janitorial supplies, maintenance tools, etc.) using the appropriate procurement processes. MAOF’s Procurement Coordinator will maintain open lines of communication with management, in addition to outside vendors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Engineering Sciences or any related filed or in lieu of this two to three years’ experience in purchasing in a large organization
  • Must be a self-starter with strong time management, organizational, and planning skills
  • Must be of good moral character and demonstrate a high degree of professionalism in the workplace.
  • Highly computer literate with solid exposure in purchasing-related software programs or accounting computer programs.

Special Qualifications
