What is a Benefits Enrollment 

Center? 

The Benefits Enrollment Center offers free help to

low-income seniors and persons with disabilities, on Medicare, to find and enroll in all the benefits

programs for which they are eligible.

What does the Center Do? 

MAOF Benefits Enrollment Center educates seniors about available public benefits. The Program helps complete all benefit applications and

recertification’s for those who qualify.

Benefits Programs

Medicare Part D Extra Help/Low-Income  Subsidy (LIS) To help pay for prescription drug coverage.

Medicare Savings Programs To help  pay the cost of Medicare Part B(doctor care) premiums, deductibles and co-payments.

Medi-Cal State program to help pay for healthcare

CalFresh (formerly known as Food Stamps) To help pay for food

Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program To help pay the costs of home heating and cooling.
