Delano, CA: Members of the board of directors, MAOF staff, community and civic leaders dedicated MAOF’s newest preschool – the MAOF Cesar Chavez Preschool - on Tuesday, May 3, 2011. The preschool officially opened in April and is expected to serve over 150 migrant preschool children and preschool children of low-income working parents.

At the grand opening celebration speakers included MAOF Board Chairman Carlos Viramontes, Delano Mayor Pro-Tem Grace Vallejo and Natalie Chavez Hernandez, granddaughter of the late labor leader.
