The Mexican American Opportunity Foundation (MAOF), the nation’s largest Latino-serving social service organization, has been helping children and families in need since 1963.
Job Training
Through MAOF's Kern County Job Training Program, there are three different vocational tracks that can be selected by qualifying clients: Bookkeeping, Clerical, and Medical Office Assistant. Each training program requires a set number of training hours prior to completion and certification. Upon completion, each client is assisted with job placement and retention services. Throughout their training, clients are provided Support Services in order to successfully complete training.
